Counter Huge ARMS, abbreviated as CHARMs, are the only weapons strong enough to defeat Huge. It is controlled by a computer-controlled magic gem called Magie Crystal Core, and CHARMs can be finely customized by replacing the core.
Magie Crystals resonate most easily with teenage girls and they are deemed most suitable for wielding CHARMs; as such, a CHARM user is called a Lily.[1] In order to use a CHARM, one must make a blood pact with it. By supplying the CHARM with its prospective user's Magie, it will be activated.
There are many different types of CHARMs with different capabilities and were named after the real-world mythological weapons (with the exception of Asterion and Trigraph), but all CHARMs have at least two basic modes: melee mode, which is designed for close-quarters combat; and shooting mode, which is designed for ranged combat.

Dainslief[]
The Dainsleif (ダインスレイフ) is a large sword-shaped CHARM that excels in close-quarters combat. It has a transformation mechanism and transform, exposing a laser launcher. It is highly versatile and is used by many Lilies.[2]
Its variant, Dainsleif Carbine (ダインスレイフ・カービン), is an equally powerful yet simple CHARM that can be easily customized. Since its structure is so simple, Lilies of Ludvico Girls Academy can make adjustments and modifications to their liking.[3]
This type is named after the cursed sword of King Hogni in Norse Mythology, as the sword is said to be influenced by the spirit of Dainn, the dwarf king of elves.
Gungnir[]
The Gungnir (グングニル) A gun-shaped CHARM with excellent versatility mainly for medium and long-range combat. In shooting mode, it is equipped with a laser machine gun, and the bullet of thunderstorms keeps any enemies away. It transforms as a lance and, in this form, is excellent for close quarters combat. Since it can handle various battle situations, it very popular with Lilies.[4]

This type is named after the god-killing spear of Odin in Norse Mythology, Gungnir is also (otherwise) known as the "Holy Lance of Longinus", which is (theoretically) used by Longinus in Christian Mythology.
Tyrfing[]
The Tyrfing (ティルフィング) is a 3rd generation CHARM that has two different variants: SP R, and SP T, though both perform the same functions. The Tyrfing has a multi-combat transformation mechanism that transforms into three modes: "Greatsword Mode" for melee attacks, "Shortsword Mode" in which large sword parts are purged for super melee attacks, and "Buster Cannon Mode" for ranged attacks.[6][7] This type is named after the cursed sword used by King Svafrlami, the son of Odin, and it is said to cut through any material as easily as cloth and to be incapable of missing a swing.
Brionac[]
The Brionac (ブリューナク) is a 2nd generation CHARM with two forms: "Slashing Mode" for direct attacks, and "Buster Cannon Mode" for shooting. A simple transformation mechanism and a shock-resistant structure make this weapon easy to operate. [8] This type is named after the unextinguished flaming spear of Lugh, the god of oaths, truth, and law in Celtic Mythology. Brionac is also known as the "Lúin of Celtchar".
Asterion[]
The Asterion (アステリオン) is equipped with a state-of-the-art transformation system developed by "Hihiiro International" at Sagami Women's University. This CHARM has three forms: "Blade Mode", "Axe Mode", and "Shooting mode" for ranged attacks.[9]
Gram[]
The Gram (グラム) is a 2nd generation CHARM made by Yggdrasil, the main CHARM manufacturer of Yurigaoka Girls Academy. The transformation mechanism is two-fold: "Slashing Mode" for direct attacks, and "Buster Cannon Mode" for ranged attacks.[10] This type is named after the sword used by Sigurd in Norse Mythology, where he used to kill the dragon Fafnir.
Trigraph[]
The Trigraph (トリグラフ) is a CHARM which, in "Gun Mode", can transform into dual pistols. In addition, one can activate "Partisan Mode" by combining the two components. It is a very powerful CHARM, but it is difficult to wield effectively.[11]
