Mai Thi Yoshimura (吉村・Thi・梅, Yoshimura Thi Mai?) is a new character exclusive to the Assault Lily Bouquet anime.
Biography[]
Mai is a Lily from Vietnam who prefers to take a carefree, laid-back approach to all she does. She has a bubbly, upbeat personality that is unobtrusive and will never get angry even if she is ridiculed. A natural mood-maker, she can be relied upon by her peers. Her rare skill, Shukuchi, allows her to run at blinding speeds, even across water.[1]
Etymology[]
- The name Mai means "apricot, plum" (梅).
- Mai's middle name Thi, a common Vietnamese middle name for female, means "female, clan" in Vietnamese (氏).
- Mai's surname Yoshimura means "lucky, good" (吉) (yoshi) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
